She measured the distance between herself and the world

She felt numb

Almost as if she was living outside her own body

She felt dead but looked alive

The issues she was facing struck her so much that she felt like she didn’t belong

She was isolated, alone

She realised the distance between herself and the world was not too far off

She realised that she was her own world

That she was spinning on her own axis

Revolving around her thoughts

She realised that the world was always in her mind

Always within her reach

She just needed to reach out and grab it

It was always hers…
